Sustainable fertilizer is the result of the incorporation of ecotechnology and innovative strategies in our processes, which allow us to take care of the environment and become allies of the people of the countryside.
The training provided to farmers in the region has the purpose to teach them how to maximize this resource, thus benefiting the economy of local farmers.
a technified pig breeding and reproduction farm located in Maxcanú, Yucatán, ten apiaries were established, one of which serves as a demonstration center for best practices in honey production and the other nine are operated by beekeepers from Kinchil, a municipality adjacent to the headquarters within the state.
Having participated in the last national competitions of the Asociación Nacional de Médicos Veterinarios Especialistas (ANMVEA), from 2021 to the 2024 edition, a total of three first places, four second places and a third place have been achieved in the category of “Amber liquid honey”, among 7 producers born in Kinchil and one for the company’s demonstration apiary.
All this has been possible due to the training and support of the Mexican authorities, who, through the Secretaría de Agricultura since 2022, recognize and certify the good production practices of beekeepers year after year, applying the adequate standards for this important environmental and productive work.
Additionally, the scheme contributes to the development and promotion of beekeeping in the region, as well as generating support for the family economy of the producers, who market their crops with better practices and, as a result, with better quality.
